Raw Vegan Pecan Chocolate Brownies

These don’t need much of an intro ⬆ just look!!!
Wow. They are gooey, decadent and super quick.

Refined sugar free, gluten free, dairy free, raw and vegan.

I know I’m an angel….
treats that love you back. Full of antioxidants, good fats, fibre, and have the definite feel good factor.

Ingredients

30 dates (soaked for at least 20 mins if hard)
1 large cup of pecans (walnuts are great too)
1 small cup of cashews
1 tbsp of maple syrup or honey (more if desired)
1 small cup of Cacao powder


Directions

Place all the ingredients into a food processor, knocking the mixture back down as necessary. Now keep your eye on the mixture. Decide if you want it crunchy or smooth. Obviously the longer you whizz the smoother the mixture becomes.

Once your happy with the texture fork into a grease proof paper lined baking tin. Freeze for 30 mins then serve. This will keep in the fridge (yeah right.. as if!!!) for around a week.

I prefer to keep mine in the freezer, removing 20 mins before serving.

Sprinkle with extra cacao powder and decorate with pecans. If feeling a little naughty drizzle with some melted good quality chocolate.
